Outfitting a school from head to toe

Challenge

The Ascend Charter School Network needed a cohesive look for their 15 schools in New York City. Each school was using a different vendor, so all the uniforms looked different - some didn't have logos, some were printed, some had patches placed in different locations by the vendors or the parents. And to present a professional image to the community, they needed a way to outfit their teachers, operations and security staff.

Solution

Our design team sprung into action to create new logos for each school, all united with a common brand theme. Then, we:

• Launched an online store for each school, with all products embroidered for the best possible brand impression

• Offered discount packs to help families easily get everything they need throughout the year

• Held pop-up fittings so kids could try on their uniforms and parents could purchase products on-site.

• Set up a dedicated site for operations and security staff

Results

Students, teachers and staff can now proudly represent their school with high-quality branded products, while building Ascend’s brand awareness through high visibility in the community.
